Ozma is an awesome band i discovered sometime in 2002. a friend of mine had the lyrics to 'battlescars' in her profile and i thought it sounded beautiful so i searched for it on kazaa and fell in love. Ozma is from california and aren't all that well known but sure have had a massive amount of downloads on their mp3.com page. i think everyone should check them out because they rock hardcore and they need to come to ct sometime really soon. :)

Q. 1 * How would you guys describe your music?

melodic rock and roll, like lemonade with your babe in the shade on a summer afternoon.

Q. 2 * Do you guys ever get into arguments--and if so does it affect the music at all?

of course... any people who get confined to a van or a studio for months at a time inevitably get at each others throats once in a while. we're like brothers now, whether we admit it or not, we depend on each other. but when we get onstage we do like to leave all the bullshit in the dressing room and get down to business.

Q. 3 * Which of your songs is your favorite one, and why?

i'll want to play or hear a certain song depending what mood i'm in. usually the best moods for rocking out are angry or overjoyed or stoned.

Q. 4 * What was your most embarassing moment on stage?

in some shithole club in illinois, i was wearing socks but no shoes on my feet and i tried to get rockstar and stand on the monitor. i slipped and fell flat on my ass. it was actually kind of fun, though.

Q. 5 * If you were a sex toy, what would you be & why?

who says i'm not a sex toy?

i really can't say, except that i probably love peanut butter cookies more.
