*Interview with Weston*

Q. 1 * How would you guys describe your music?

We blend rock with intense melody, harmony, and emotion...ending up with very moving music. We try to write music that takes the listeners somewhere else, so that they connect with the song as much as possible.

Q. 2 * Do you guys ever get into arguments--and if so does it affect the music at all?

We do get into arguments sometimes, but that's just part of being in a band. We're not always going to agree, but we find a way to compromise and work through it. We've had our ups and downs with arguments, they haven't always gone smoothly. But in the end, it all works out because we're like family at this point. We're not going to let petty arguments get in the way of our passion for music or our friendships.

Q. 3 * Which of your songs if your favorite one, and why?

At the moment I couldn't say. We keep coming up with so much new stuff lately that I couldn't put my finger on a specific song, we love 'em all. If you're asking this question in regards to our past 2 demos, I'd have to say Closer to the Ground. Reason being, the song is about God, the one who's had our backs this whole way, paving the road for 21 Rest's future. The song also has an undeniable amount of emotion through the melody, lyrics, and overall music. I think we all really connect with that song in several different ways.

Q. 4 * What was your most embarassing moment on stage?

I'd have to say our last show. We just didn't have any time to prepare for it due to the holidays. We ended up butchering our songs due to a lack of practice that month and it felt really awkward to hear each song fall apart in front of a live audience. But to our surprise, after the show, people said we pulled it off quite well and it was one of our most entertaining and interesting sets! You never know how the crowd will react. Luckily we adjusted to the circumstances and acted like nothing was wrong.

Q. 5 * If you were a sex toy, what would you be & why?

I'd be a REAL DOLL. I think this would offer the most enjoyment if I were a sex toy. I wouldn't want to be a dildo or anything like that. Not having eyes, arms, or legs would bother me a lot. I also wouldn't like being crammed into dark, dirty places.

Q. 6 * Seriously now, How much DO you love us?

Seriously, you rock for promoting all the bands on your site. For that, we love you quite a bit. I suppose the more you promote the bands, the more we'll love you. It's not a very nice type of love, but it's still love, right?!
